Olive M Sinzheimer, age 97, of Cape May passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2014 joining her Eternal Father in Heaven. Olive was born November 1, 1916 in Somerville, MA; and was subsequently adopted by a Canadian doctor and his wife at an early age, living her childhood years in Toronto, Canada. She was the beloved wife of the late William Sinzheimer, whom she met at New York Bible College. Upon graduation, they served as missionaries in Kentucky and West Virginia for over 34 years. They retired and moved to Cape May in 1979. With Olive's love of gardening and flowers, she founded the Gardening-by-the-Sea Garden Club 34 years ago, which today is a thriving organization. Olive was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and devoted friend. She is survived by her two sons: David (Kathleen) and William II (Carol) and five grandchildren: Eric (Rebecca), Gregory (Mindy), Todd (Carrie), Aaron (Carmen), and Rebekah (Daniel) Pajak. Also surviving are nine great grandchildren: Eric Jr., Sarah, Sean, William, Samuel, Marley, Isabel, Kannon and Presley. Services will be held at Green Creek Community Church, Delsea Drive, Green Creek, NJ at noon on Saturday, November 1, 2014. Lunch will follow in the Community Room.
