Laura D Peacock, age 96, of Villas passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at Victoria Manor. Laura was born August 15, 1918 in Philadelphia, PA; and has been a Cape May area resident since 2000. She is the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Frances (Chmeil) Synol. Laura was a member of the Del Haven DAV Auxillary Chapter #44, and attended the Lower Township Senior Center. Laura was preceded in death by her husband Herman Peacock in 1982. She is survived by her daughter Dorothy (Bruds) McDonald of Villas and daughter Ruth (Richard) Kajkowski of Philadelphia. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at the Parish of St John Neumann, St Raymond's RC Church, Ocean & Bayshore Rd, Villas, NJ 08251; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
