Obituary of Ann F Flynn

OBITUARY Ann F "Nancy" Flynn, 86, of North Cape May passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the North Cape Center. Born in the Bronx, NY and formerly of that city; she has been a Cape May area resident since 1983. Ann was a graduate of DeWitt Clinton High School in the Bronx, NY. She was an Audio Visual Technician at Cardinal Hayes High School in the Bronx, NY and also worked as a clerk at Metropolitan Life Ins. Co. in New York City. Ann was a member of the Parish of St John Neumann; active in the Holy Name Society; the Altar & Rosary Society; volunteered at Bingo; a member of the North Cape May Seniors; and the Golden Age Club. She is survived by her son Dennis Flynn of North Cape May; her son Edward (Ann) Flynn of Winter Springs, FL; her sister Margaret "Peggy" Sorito of Scotch Plains, NJ; 7 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. Ann was preceded in death by her husband Nicholas Flynn in 1983. There will be a funeral service at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 6:00 to 7:00 PM.
