Doris L Laws, age 81, of North Cape May passed away peacefully Monday, August 11, 2014 at Victoria Manor. Doris was born November 20, 1932 in Wildwood and has been a life-long Cape May area resident. She was a member of the first graduating class of Wildwood Catholic High School. Doris was a loving mother, a homemaker, and a stay-at-home mom most of her life. After her children were raised, she went back to her career as a registered nurse. She was a State Nursing Certifier, a Nurse Teacher, and a Nursing Supervisor at Victoria Manor for 13 years. Doris was preceded in death by her husband Robert A. Laws, Sr. and her son Glenn David Laws. She is survived by her loving son Robert Laws who has taken care of her for the past eight years. Also surviving are her brother Ed (Marge) Levering, Sr.; her sister-in-law Mabel; and several nieces & nephews. There will be a Catholic Prayer Service at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 15, 2014 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
