Obituary of John Edward Chaga

OBITUARY John E Chaga, 92, of North Cape May passed away on Tuesday, October 09, 2012 at the North Cape Center. Born in Chester, PA and formerly of South Philadelphia; he summered in Cape May since 1979 and became a full time resident in 1984. John served his country in the US Army during World War II. He was a member of the Parish of St John Neumann, the Knights of Columbus in Erma, and enjoyed playing the lottery. John is survived by his son John Mickey Chaga of North Cape May with whom he has lived for 31 years; his son Joseph Chaga of Havertown, PA; his granddaughter Sarah his brother Michael Chaga of Aston Township, PA; and his brother George Chaga of State College, PA. He was preceded in death by his wife Anna (nee Bovak) in 2002. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 15, 2012 at the Parish of St John Neumann, St John of God RC Church, 680 Townbank Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow the service at Cape May County Veteran's Cemetery, 127 Crest Haven Rd, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.
