Alan P. "Tim" Coller, of Cape May passed away on June 14, 2014 surrounded by his family. Tim was born in Depere, Wisconsin in 1922.. He graduated from Brown University with a degree in engineering and continued his studies at the Wharton School of Business and executive studies at Harvard University. Tim served in the US Army Corps of Engineers during the war and was primarily involved with the enrichment process for uranium that was used in the Manhattan Project for the manufacturing of the first nuclear weapons. Tim was employed by the Westinghouse Corporation for 38 years. His various positions involved a great deal of international travel, including a 6 week trip through the Soviet Union during the Cold War on behalf of the United States Government. Tim enjoyed, skiing, golf and tennis, but was happiest when surrounded by friends and family. Tim is survived by his wife Barbara, sons Trappeur and Chip, daughters-in-law, Robin and Tracy and granddaughters Sydney and Charlotte. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
