I knew Linda in Willow Grove 45 years ago. We were good friends. I am so sorry for her loss, I just tried to get together with her when I read of her untimely passing. She was a great friend and had many happy times with her. Played pinochle with her and her mom many times. So sorry to her beautiful daughters, you have been through a lot. Wish I could have seen her one last time. My prayers are with you and all family. Diane Storb Marshall

The Brandenburgs are deeply saddened by the passing of Linda. My sons went to school with both of her daughters. I also knew her from aerobics many years ago.

Linda was a good friend to me and a wonderful person. I am saddened by her death! I have known her family since before the birth of her daughter, Lea. Lea and Kelsey have lost both of their parents way too soon. My sympathies to them and to Linda's father and siblings.

Linda was my roommate at Juniata College, my sophomore year. I am saddened to hear of her passing. She was such a bright light. My memories seem to always picture her smiling and laughing, seeming to be able to find the silver lining or funny side. Many years after college, she remained the same, upbeat, fun-loving person. She shared her life, foibles and all, unapologetically, on her terms. She will be missed.
My thoughts are with her daughters, her siblings and her father.

Dear Lea,
I read of your mother's sudden passing in the press this morning and wanted to let you know how sorry I am. I remember both of you standing in my first grade classroom at Mitnick School with such joy at having known and taught you. Special prayers for special people...Lovingly, Mrs. Smith

We met Linda at the Body Mechanix fitness center in Cape May in 1988 while we were on sabbatical leave in Cape May. At that time, high impact aerobics was the exercise fad and we all did it with intensity, especially Linda. We were very impressed with her friendliness and high energy. We soon met Jimmy and went out on their boat; they were beautiful water skiers, for my part, I couldn't get up out of the water. We knew Lea as a baby and became very friendly with their family of 3.
In subsequent years, we always stopped to see Linda and Jimmy when we visited Cape May. We remember trying to walk with Linda on her route in the Erma area. The only way we could keep up with her was to jog.
When we bought land on the Delaware Bay in 1993, Linda and Jimmy came to our beach and celebrated with us. We built our house in 1995 and for the next 15 years lived 3 miles away from Linda and Jimmy.
I consider myself a strong kayaker, but when I kayaked alongside Linda, I had to struggle to keep up; she only had one speed: intense.
We feel blessed to have had Linda as a friend for many years. Among her admirable qualities, we remember best her fun-loving nature, her self-discipline, her competitiveness in school and while fishing for stripers, and her love of her family.
