Obituary of Donald T. Miller

Donald T Miller, SR., age 79, of Villas passed away suddenly Thursday, May 29, 2014 at his home. Donald was born in Philadelphia, PA and has been a Cape May area resident since 1997. He was a retired Sheet Metal worker; working for 25 years through Local 19 of Philadelphia. Donald played on the Citean Rams Semi Pro Football Team in Philadelphia during the 1950's. He was a member of the Villas Fishing Club and the Elks Lodge in Villas. Donald is survived by his wife of 57 years Elizabeth (nee Donahue) Miller; his sons: Donald T Miller, Kenneth J (Linda) Miller, Matthew J (Karinsue) Miller, & Mark A (Diane) Miller; and his brother Jack L (Elaine) Miller. Also surviving are his seven grandchildren: Jeremiah, Nicholas, Madeline, Jacob, Kaitlin, Sarabeth, & Stephen; and his two great grandchildren: Taylor & Riley. Don was a devoted family man and a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was very involved in coaching Little League sports. There will be a funeral service at 2:30 PM June 1, 2014 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 1:00 to 2:30 PM.
