Obituary of Andrew G Rott

Andrew G Rott, Sr., age 57, of Woodbine passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2014 after battling a lengthy illness. He served in the US Army based at Fort Hood, TX and overseas in Grafenburg, Germany until his discharge in 1976. Andrew set sail at a young age as a Lower Township Commercial Fisherman. Although his trip has ended, we still can look back on the laughs he brought us all. His family will forever remember the way he carried on. He was always the life of the party. Andrew is survived by his children: Heidi (Tyrone) Howell Rott of Cape May Court House and Andrew G Rott, Jr. of Erma. Also surviving are his brothers: Thomas Rott, Sr., George (Kelly) Rott, and John Rott; his sister Rose Chakhchakhyan; and his grandsons: Aydan & Kai Howell who he loved and adored. Andrew was preceded in death by his mother Rosemary Graves and his father Andrew W Rott. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM on Friday, May 16, 2014 at Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Cape May County Veteran's Cemetery, 127 Crest Haven Rd, Cape May Court House, NJ.
