Louis F. "Lou" Barbieri, age 59, of Rio Grande passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2014. Lou was born in Philadelphia, PA; lived in Northeast Philly; and has been a Cape May area resident since 1976. He was a Dock Attendant for the Cape May-Lewes Ferry, but worked as a security officer at the US Coast Guard Base in Cape May for the past 10 years. Lou was an avid fisherman. He is survived by his wife of 38 years Suzane (nee Bair) Barbieri; his daughter Angela (Jon Stackhouse) Barbieri of N Wildwood, NJ; his son Frank (Cheryl) Barbieri of Rio Grande, NJ; his niece Jennifer Beaky of Ridley Park, PA; and his two great nephews: Liam & Connor Wallace. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
