Steven D Wilson, age 53, of Erma passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014. Steven was born in Medford Lakes, NJ; formerly lived in Vineland (for 6 years); and has been a Cape May area resident since 1982. He was a 1978 graduate of Vineland High School. Steve was the owner/operator of Steve's Auto Repair in North Cape May, and also ran numerous gas stations in Lower Township including Mobil, Gulf, & Shell stations. He was an avid high powered rocketry enthusiast, and was a member of the Maryland & Delaware Rocket Association. Steve designed, built, and participated in many rocket launches throughout the country. He is survived by his wife Tasha Wilson of Cape May; sons: Steven Wilson (fianc Catherine Behrens) & Dustin Wilson both of Cape May; his mother Nancy Wand of Cape May; his father Robert Wilson of Sarasota, FL; his brother Ronald (Susan) Wilson of Seaville, NJ; his brother Thomas Wilson of Cape May; and his sister Sharon Riggio of Turnersville, NJ. Also surviving are his brother-in-law Steve (Cheryl) Jordan; his sister-in-law Barbara (George) Bulduc; and numerous nieces, nephews, & cousins. Steve was preceded in death by his sister-in-law Linda Jordan. There will be a funeral service at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 2, 2014 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Cold Spring Cemetery, 780 Seashore Rd, Cold Spring, NJ 08204.
