To my Mother: I love you. We had great times and bad, the best part was when I'd visit-- laying in bed and falling asleep talking. No one can ever take away what we had. It's ours forever.
I will be waiting to hear from you like we've talked about. I love you, Mom.
Your little brat,
Barbie.

Jane was welcomed into heaven by her parents Lillian Maynard and Ralph Gowett and her siblings Marion Murnancy, Edith Clookey and Ralph Gowett Jr and Eugene were awaiting her arrival.. Jane who was born in Lake Placid NY and shared many happy memories of ice skating as a young girl at Tupper Lake. She went on to marry James Dukette there marriage was blessed with three children whom are left to cherish and hold onto Jane's memory Ann Varner, Debbie Fuller, and Barbara Timmreck.
Jane relocated to New Port Rickey, Florida with the love of her life Joseph Howe, and his daughter Joann. Jane and Joe with their 4 daughters
love hard, lived hard, and lived in many areas of Florida. After many years of enjoying the sunshine state to return north back to Rochester, NY.
Where ever Jane lived she made her home and family comfortable and living life with adventure . Her many accomplishments was giving love to her Grandchildren and sharing stories of her travels, of a life that had been well lived, enjoyed and treasured.
Jane loved spending her later years in Cape May, NJ with her frequent trips to central NY to visit with many nieces and nephews along with a large extended family. Who will miss her and will treasure the many memories we have of camping and the years that we were blessed to have her.
