Joan E. Deavitt, 82, Cape May Court House, took her last breath with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Chester PA November 2, 1942 and graduated from Lincoln High School. After graduation she attended nursing school. She worked as a pediatric nurse and a nurse for those with developmental disabilities.
Besides spending time with her family, her favorite past time was playing Bingo and Pokeno. Lady Luck was always on Joan's side.
Joan is survived by her children Barry, Bryan, John, and Turk; numerous grandchildren; siblings Barbara Starnes, Jane Papale and Ruth Houser; several nieces and nephews and many friends who she loved like her family. She was preceded in death by three children Frank, Louise and Georgie and her sister Ruth.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
The best things in life are love, laughter and bingo wins.
