Brad-Lee Lloyd Arthur MacDonald, 65, passed away unexpectedly on November 30, 2024, at his home in Englewood, Florida. Born January 19, 1959, in Chester, Pennsylvania, Brad was the beloved son of Leland W. MacDonald and Patricia E. Shober. Brad was predeceased by his father, Leland; his mother, Patricia; his brother, Lee MacDonald; and his sister, Yvonne Shober. He is survived by his brother, David MacDonald; his children, Corinne Flanigan, Michael (and Diana) Flanigan, Kari-Lee (and Nick) Franco, and Brad-Lee (and Leslie) MacDonald; and his cherished grandchildren, Lucy and Nelle Flanigan, Jude MacDonald, and Sylvie Franco. He also leaves behind his partner Michelle Shaw, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Brad was a long time resident of Cape May County, NJ and recently retired. He had a deep love for life and the warmth of the Florida sun. He was happiest when out on the water on his boat, riding his motorcycles, and most of all, spending time with his family. His passion for adventure and his devotion to those he loved will leave a lasting imprint on all who knew him.

There will be a service held at St. John Neumann church at 680 Townbank Road in North Cape May on Saturday December 14. The calling hour will be held from 10-11am with a mass following at 11am. A celebration of Brad's life will be held afterwards at 1pm at the Green Creek Town Fire Hall.

Brad will be remembered for his vibrant spirit, his love of family, and the joy he brought to those around him. He will be deeply missed but forever held in our hearts.

In lieu of flowers, a contribution to one of Brad's favorite charities, Toys for Tots, would be greatly appreciated. You can make donations at your local chapter, online or bring an unwrapped toy to the church or fire hall on Saturday.
