Jean T. Rohrer (nee Crooks), 98, of North Cape May, entered eternal rest Monday, December 2nd at Genesis -North Cape Center. Jean was preceded in death by her husband Albert J. (2006); son John A. (2016); daughter in-law Cheryl (2021); and brother Leonard Crooks. She is survived by her daughter Jean Curran; son Edward (Kathy); son William (Cheryl); son Albert (BettyAnne); daughter in-law Lore (John). 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Jean was born in the Wissinoming section of Philadelphia, and moved to Feasterville, Bucks County soon after marrying Albert Rohrer. Jean was a waitress for many years at Al's Hoagie in Feasterville and Robin Hood Restaurant in Southampton. Both Jean and Al were involved with the Lower Bucks County Boy Scout program. Once they both retired, they moved to Kissimmee Florida, where they shared their love of all things Disney. Jean also volunteered with Give Kids the World, a nonprofit that provides critically ill children and their families vacations at no cost. After Al's death, Jean relocated to North Cape May in 2007 and lived in Haven House until her move into North Cape Center, where her daughter Jeannie and the staff provided excellent care in her final years. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
