Walter (Butch) Oliver, Jr., of Green Creek, passed away peacefully at home on November 15, 2024 and went on to live in heaven with his wife, Vicki. Butch was well known for coaching Pop Warner football in the 1980s. He drove trucks for many years before becoming a weigh master.
He was a loving husband, father, brother, son, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He is survived by his brother Steve (Dawn) Oliver, children, Georgie (Jerry) Corson, Tara (Jason) Brown, Dan Oliver and Crystal (Duran) Buck, 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Walter Oliver and Grace Brown, brother, Howard Oliver, wife, Vicki and his dog Romey.
The family requests everyone to wear Eagles Jersey/Shirt or green. A memorial service will be held at 11am on Friday, November 22 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd., N. Cape May, with visitation 1 hour prior from 10am to 11am.
