Obituary of David J Fessler

David J. Fessler, 64, of Villas, NJ passed away peacefully on Sunday November 3, 2024 with his wife and children by his side. David was born on December 8, 1959 in Philadelphia, PA to Jack and Margaret Fessler, who both preceded him in death. David is lovingly remembered as a devoted husband to his wife Denise, with whom he shared 45 wonderful years of marriage. Together they raised their incredible children, David, Robert (Bob), and Lori, who brought immense joy to his life. His family expanded to include eight cherished grandchildren: Dominick, Gavin, Bobby, Gabby, Asher, Evan, Ian, and Serenity. He was delighted by their presence every chance he got. David's other love was his work. He was a contractor specializing in woodwork, furniture and cabinetry. If you ever wondered where Dave was, you were guaranteed to find him in his shop working on his craft. He found joy in teaching others his knowledge and always working on projects. He was extremely passionate about his work. David was a compassionate father to animals as well. He took in any animal, and cared for them with much grace. He had many cats, dogs, rabbits, chickens, ducks, and even an orphaned pot-bellied pig. He loved all, and he accepted all. Some of David's other thrills included accompanying his family on cruises and camping trips. He always wanted everyone to have a memorable time. He also enjoyed holidays and tradition, collecting antiques, and watching his grandchildren's sports games. David was always there when he could, and unhappy when he couldn't. He will always be remembered as the humble, caring, creative, entertaining, giving, loving, passionate, and unique person he was. He was much loved, and his memory will be cherished.
