Obituary of Richard Martin Ernst

OBITUARY Richard M. Ernst age 80 of West Cape May formerly of Mantua passed away on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012. Richard and Betty summered in West Cape May from 1979-1989 and became permanent residents in 1989. He had worked for Shell Oil Co., Chemical Div., Thorofare, NJ for 27 years Richard was a very proud Marine and had served in the Korean War. He was a member of the Marine Corp. League Dramis Detachment. He is survived by his wife Betty; two sons and two daughters, Richard (Sara) of Swedesboro and Edward (Deborah) of Bear DE, Linda (Joseph) DeMarco of Mullica Hill and Joanne (Samuel) Maugeri of Swedesboro. He also leaves 9 grandchildren, Eddie Jr., Paul, Nicole, Richard III, Stephen, Thomas, Ashley, Stacey and Laura and 3 great-grandchildren, Arianna, Isabella and Ryan. He was predeceased by a son Donald Ernst and grandson Samuel Maugeri Jr.. A Funeral Service will be held 11 am on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at the Cape May Lutheran Church, 509 Pittsburgh Ave., Cape May, NJ where relatives and friends may call from 10-11 am.
