Robin Arleen Morse (nee: Scheidly), 59 entered into eternal rest on September 18, 2024 at her home in Lower Township, NJ. Born November 27, 1964 in Decatur, Indiana, she was the daughter of Chaplain Robert A Scheidly, LtCol Retired (Civil Air Patrol a US Air Force Auxiliary) and Anna O Scheidly, LtCol Retired (Civil Air Patrol a US Air Force Auxiliary) of Lower Township, NJ. Robin was a resident of Berne, Syracuse, Dunkirk and New Haven, Indiana and Southern Cape May County since 1986, except while attending Rutgers University in Camden, New Jersey. Robin graduated from New Haven High School in New Haven, Indiana and went on to study at Purdue University, Bloomington, Indiana; IUPU (Indiana University Purdue University) Fort Wayne Campus, Fort Wayne, Indiana; Rutgers University, Camden Campus in Camden, NJ; where she graduated with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Biology and Atlantic Cape Community College, Mays Landing, New Jersey where she earned an Associates Degree in Science with Honors. At Rutgers, Robin worked on a Cancer Research Study Program during which she presented a research paper to the New Jersey Academy of Science along with her professor. Due to physical reasons, she had to drop out of that program but continued her education receiving many Computer Technology Credits. Robin took a training course on Entrepreneurship with the intention of starting a business. A bookmobile and a great number of books were acquired but the business never materialized. She was employed with Eckert Drugs which became Thrift Drugs as Pharmacy Tech in Rio Grande, New Jersey and with Philadelphia Inquirer as a Carrier and then as Warehouse Manager, in Burleigh, New Jersey. She joined the Civil Air Patrol (a US Air Force Auxiliary) in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where she wrote program material for Cadet Members (teenagers). She continued in the program in Cape May County, New Jersey, earning the grade of Captain. Robin was active in her communities including memberships in the New Haven Church of the Nazarene in New Haven, Indiana, the Cape May Holiness Association (Erma Camp) in Erma, New Jersey and the Take Off Pounds Sensitively in Villas, NJ where she become the leader of the group. Robin was predeceased by her husband Richard Neely Morse in 2019 and her son Ryan N. Morse in 2023. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister, Andrea O Scheidly of Lower Township, NJ and one "God Sister" Nancy J (Ephraim) Guerra; her children, Richard S "Ricky" Morse, Kristina "Krissy" B Lashley of Cape May Court House, NJ, Philip "Phil" C (Danielle) Morse of North Cape May, NJ, Dannielle (JT) Frey of Shippensburg, PA, and Nickolas "Nick" Bersito of Shippensburg, PA. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Kaitlynn "Katie," Steven, Frank, Zachary, Madelyn, Jacob, Jayden, Kylie "Grace," Taylor and Tyler and many relatives which include her Sister-in Law, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. Grave side services will be held on Wednesday, October 9th at 11:00am at Cold Spring Presbyterian Cemetery, 780 Seashore Rd, Cape May, NJ 08204. You are invited to send or bring item(s) from your memories of Robin such as a written story, poem, photo, recipe, etc. to be placed in her Memorial Book. In lieu of floral bouquets, the family suggests a memorial donation to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Children's Cancer Research Fund, Cape May Holiness Association (Erma Camp), Cape May Beach Sunday School Association in Town Bank or a charity of your choice. Robin will be greatly missed and even though she is no longer with us in person, she will always be in our hearts and memories.
