Margaret "Peg" Motz, 80, North Cape May, entered into eternal rest Thursday, September 19, at Cooper University Hospital – Camden with her family by her side. Born July 20, 1944, in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late John E. and Ellen Margaret (McMullen) Flynn. She was a graduate of Little Flower High School, Philadelphia. A member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Cape May, where she volunteered her time and talents. She often volunteered helping to make soup, selling tickets at Car Raffle Booth and enjoying time with the Just Friends Organization. She also served as a Eucharistic Minister at Star. When at St. Raymond Parish, Villas, she was an altar server and volunteered during school lunch at both St. Raymond School and Wildwood Catholic Academy. Peg was also a member of Stella Maris Home Association and a life member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary where she enjoyed playing shuffleboard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband the late William J. Motz, Sr.; sister Mary and brother John. Peg will forever be missed by her children William "Bill" Motz, Jr. husband of Marion, Ellen Krause wife of Mark and Joani Kearney wife of Michael; grandchildren Kyle husband of Kelsey, Kevin fiancée of Sarah, Cory, Abby, Patrick and Flynn; and great grandson Finnegan. She is also survived by siblings Eileen wife of Frank, Dolores wife of Jim and Kathy wife of Bob; and several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9AM Friday, September 27 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church 520 Lafayette Street Cape May. There will not be any calling hours prior to Mass. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects Thursday evening September 26 from 5PM until 7PM at Evoy Funeral Home 3218 Bayshore Road North Cape May NJ 08204. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In the giving and generous spirit of Peg, the family ask that donations be made to Little Flower High School 1000 West Lycoming St. Philadelphia PA 19104, the Wounded Warriors Project 4899 Belfort Road Suite 300 Jacksonville Fl 32256, The Oblates of St. Francis de Sales or the Alzheimer's Association.
