Obituary of Antonietta Rosica

Antonietta Rosica, 83, Rio Grande NJ, passed into eternal rest Tuesday morning, September 3, 2024 at her home with her children by her side. Born April 25, 1941 in Guardiagrele Italy, she was the daughter the late Antonio Rosica and Claudia Di Sciascio. In 1974 at the age of 33, Antonietta along with her four young children relocated from Italy to the United States of America. As a woman of Catholic faith and a hard worker, she was a homemaker who selflessly gave of herself to provide for her children. Antonietta will always be remembered as a Loving Mother! In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter Angelina Rosica; sisters Nancy Santoleri, Carmela Rosica and Isolina Capuzzi; and a brother Gabriele Rosica. Antonietta will forever be missed by her children Anna Mercuri (Bruno), Gabriele Rosica, Romano Rosica (Silvia); and Melva Massarella; grandchildren Michael LoBosco, Pamela Brockman, Jennifer Milano and Brandon Rosica; 5 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects September 6, 2024 from 10-11AM with religious services to follow at Evoy Funeral Home 3218 Bayshore Road North Cape May. Entombment will follow on the grounds of St. Mary Roman Catholic Cemetery Cape May. The family would prefer donations to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Antonietta.
