Obituary of Rosanne M Piccioni

Rosanne M. Piccioni, 69, Villas entered into eternal rest Friday, August 9 at Cooper at Cape Regional, Cape May Court House. Born December 10, 1954 in Wilmington DE, she was the daughter of the late George Volturo and the late Anna (Coviello) McMahon. She was also the step daughter of the late James McMahon. Rosanne was a graduate of Claymont High School. She enjoyed sewing and crotcheting, baking and cooking and playing Bingo and attending Penny Parties with her family and friends. She proudly made a baby blanket for each new member of her family. She was a member of the Grandparent's Group- Shore Family Success Center in Rio Grande. Her biggest joy in life were her children and grandchildren. She worked at Crest Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in the laundry department. Prior to Crest Haven she helped her family at their motel in Wildwood Crest, the International as well as worked at various other motels. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, the late Alfred Piccioni (December 2003); her twins Joseph and Maryanne Piccioni; grandchildren Ian James Murphy and Katie Piccioni. Rosanne is survived by her children Alfred Piccioni, Jr. (Lisa); Sherrie Miller (James); Carla Piccioni (Luis); Rosemary Piccioni (James); George Piccioni (Barabra) and Sarah Piccioni; grandchildren Sherrie Lynn (Adam); Jamie Lynn (Mike); Jodi (Joey); Erica (Josh); Amber; Joseph A. Piccioni; Joseph A. Johnson; Zachary (Stephanie); David (Erin); Scotty; Abbey; Riley; Aubree and Clara; 15 great grandchildren; sister Sharon Bradley (Ed); as well as many friends and extended family members; nieces, nephews and cousins. A Celebration of Rosanne's life will be held Sunday August 25th from Noon to 5PM at the Villas Fire Company 1647 Bayshore Road Villas NJ 08251. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Cape May County Animal Shelter in memory of Rosanne.
