Elizabeth Becker, 81, Villas, entered into eternal rest Sunday, July 21 at Pelican Pointe Rehabilitation Center where she had been a guest for a month.

Born January 18, 1943 in Upper Darby PA, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Martha (Cavender) Maguire.

Before moving to Cape May County, she was the owner of the Red Rooster Restaurant, Blacksburg VA. She also worked as a cashier for the North Cape ACME.

Elizabeth was a member of the Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, Villas where she also served as the parish secretary.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband the late Bruce Becker in 1998 and her brother-in-law John Lauer.

Elizabeth is survived by her siblings, MaryAnne Lauer; Michael Maguire, Sr. (Diane); and brother Walter Maguire, Jr. (Patricia). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews whom she loved as her own children.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 30 at 11AM at Evoy Funeral Home 3218 Bayshore Road North Cape May. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 10AM until the time of service. Interment will be on the grounds of St. Mary's Cemetery 1056 Seashore Road Cape May NJ.
