Obituary of Kathleen Conner

Kathleen "Kate" Conner age 64 of North Cape May passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024 at her home with her family by her side. She was born in Philadelphia and had previously resided in West Deptford and Glassboro, NJ. Kate graduated from West Deptford High School and was a customer service representative for Campbell Soup in Camden, NJ where she retired after 27 years. Kate loved the Philadelphia Eagles and the Philadelphia Phillies and enjoyed going to spring training and traveling. She was a Longaberger collector and enjoyed being a fashion fashionisa. She was known as "The Mayor of the Beach". Kate could always be found at the beach with her beloved furball Murphy. As one of her friends stated, "The Beach will never be the same". Kate is survived by her mother Patricia Gaffney and her beloved Chuck. She was preceded in death by her father Gordon, step-father John, son Jason and her beloved furball Murphy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM on Monday July 22, 2024 at St. John Neumann Parish/St John of God Church, 680 Townbank Road, North Cape May, NJ. Relatives and friends will be received at the church from 10:00-10:50 AM. Contributions can be made in her memory to the American Lung Association, or Bayada Hospice.
