Today we say our final goodbyes to you, how sad. You were always a bright and shinning light in any crowd. We remember the first days of meeting you at our "happy hour". You were the crazy one jumping up and down on the dance floor, we'd never seen that before! You were our bouncy leader in Get Me To The Church On Time running across the stage!
You always put others first, you'd say your hellos to everyone before heading for a table, you always showed concern when you talked with us. Behind all this you had a beautiful smile just waiting to pop out! You had a contagious happy personality that truly shinned, thank you so much for sharing yourself with us. We will miss that smile.
If God has DooWop in heaven then you will truly "be in heaven"!

Bill was one of those teachers you never forget. He was the first to treat me like an equal after I graduated, and I was thrilled when he left teaching to pursue his dreams. He had so much to be grateful for, I do so hope he enjoyed his life.

Bill Kuchon, my dad. You were one of a kind, dad, and I'm so lucky to have been your daughter. I love you so much, and miss you dearly. No one could have been granted a happier childhood, nor been more inspired to simply be true to themselves, regardless of societal expectation or etiquette. You filled me with courage and passion. I love you dad. Candy hearts, paper flowers, sour cream cookies and Bob Dylan for you always. xoxo Merilee

Some of my greatest memories of working for First Alert were working with Bill. He was so creative and had such enthusiasm in whatever project he was involved with. For one of our conventions, Bill produced a talent show and he persuaded me to sing Respect for the first time in front of a crowd. I remember being so nervous about it, but it was a really fun experience and in the end I was very happy that I tried it. I also worked with Bill on several videos with customers and he was such a professional, preparing for the videos in such great detail. It was rewarding for me to watch him work with every customer and it was so clear to me how much they valued his training. Beyond all this, Bill was just fun to be around. No matter what was going on in our "corporate" environment, he always put a smile on my face. I'm so thankful for having had the opportunity to work with Bill over the years. His enthusiasm, sense of humor and strong work ethic were a real inspiration for me.

I am sorry to hear of Mr Kuchon's passing. I was one of his students at Madison High School class of '74. He was an amazing teacher, one of the best I ever had. I was involved in a number of productions while at MHS and they were all produced at a level of professionalism above what anyone would have thought a bunch of high school kids were capable of.
I have thought of him often over the years and am quite sad to here he is gone.
All the best to your family as you deal with your loss.

I am so lucky to have a lifetime of memories of my dad. He was such a fun, caring and loving person. He taught me to approach life with positivity and a smile. He also loved music and shared his passion for it with me. There are so many wonderful times we shared-Some of my fondest memories are listening to his vast record collection, playing catch in the yard, going to see live music, dancing, singing and playing sock bonk-a game we made up where we would throw balled up socks at each other. Sounds silly but that was the best thing about my dad-he was silly and he made my childhood so much fun. My sister and I were lucky to have spent some time with dad at the end. We sang him some of his favorite songs and he even sang to us. He was true to himself until the end -I love you dad.
