What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.

Ray, Janice, and David:
My deepest sympathy to you and yours. I will always treasure all of you as friends. Dolores was such a beautiful young lady with a personality to match. I was also your paperboy for many years on Kirkbride Street.
Deborah and I have been living in Slidell LA with our children since 1996 after my mom passed away when I was working for the USN as a Civil Servant Engineer.

I volunteer at Cape Regional and knew Dolores and her husband Ray through their son Ray, my “boss” at the hospital. I’ve had several occasions to get together with them and enjoyed their company very much. Dolores always had the biggest smile for me when I saw her and always upon seeing her she would say “ I remember you “. You could also see how much she adored her children and her faithful husband who was always by her side. I feel blessed knowing her and was glad I had a chance to pray with her when she was in the hospital. My deepest sympathy for her family and friends. May the God of all comfort be with you and bring you peace in your sorrow. Cherish those special moments and memories. I will always remember her smiling face in how she greeted me. It was a privilege to know her. Blessings, Barbara Hoppes
