Margaret Jenkins, age 75, of North Cape May passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Cape Regional Medical Center. Margaret was born in Philadelphia, but has been a Cape May area resident since 1975. She was employed as a cook at St Ann's Rectory in Wildwood. Margaret was an associate member of the Villas Fishing Club and the Moose Lodge of North Wildwood. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles F Jenkins in 2012. Margaret is survived by her three children: Margaret (Randy) Pluta of North Cape May, Chick Jenkins of North Cape May, and Deborah Jenkins of Wildwood. Also surviving are her sister Maryann (Jim) McConnell of Burleigh, 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. There will be a funeral service at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will be private. The family suggests donations in Margaret's memory to the Holy Redeemer Hospice, 1801 Route 9, Swainton, NJ 08210.
