Dorothy "Dottie" May Small, 88, of Villas peacefully passed away on April 21, 2024.
She was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, and moved to Villas, NJ in 1977.
Dottie and her husband, Raymond Small, married in the summer of 1953. Together, they raised two sons who she loved dearly. A devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She spent her life caring for others and created lasting memories for those around her.
She was a warm and inviting host, always willing to prepare a meal for anyone stopping to visit. Well-known for her delicious baked goods, which she often gifted during holidays and special occasions. As an avid gardener, she was quite the green thumb, capable of cultivating a beautiful garden. An animal lover, dogs always had a special place in Dorothy's heart.
She was predeceased by her parents Emma and George, as well as her beloved husband Raymond. She is survived by her loving sons Raymond Small Jr. and William Small, her grandchildren Jacqueline Small, Nichole (Daniel) Gardella, Stephen Damiani, and great-grandson Luca.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 9:30 until the time of service at 11:00 am Saturday, April 27th at Evoy Funeral Home 3218 Bayshore Road, North Cape May, NJ.
