James J. Redmond, 75, of Wildwood, NJ, passed away on March 20, 2024.
He was born to Charles and Kathleen (nee Bradley) Redmond on October 9, 1948, in Philadelphia, PA. He joined the Navy in 1966 and served his country for four years before returning to Southern Jersey, where he was a carpenter for Cape May County. He enjoyed fishing, playing shuffleboard, and spending time with his grand-dog, Milo.
James is predeceased by both of his parents, as well as his brother Charles. He leaves behind his son, James F. Redmond (Jessica), his sister Rose, and his grandchildren James and Kane.
A memorial service will be held for James on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd., North Cape May. Calling for family and friends begins at 10:30 am, with the service starting at 11:30 am. His inurnment will take place immediately afterwards at Cape May County Veterans Cemetery in Cape May Court House.
