Elizabeth A. Lanza, 96, passed away on February 10, 2024 surrounded by her family. Born in Philadelphia, PA, on February 17, 1927, to the late Anthony and Marianne "Anne" (Magrino) Fascenda. Elizabeth was a Cape May County resident since 1954. She was a proud homemaker who loved to cook, sew and crochet. Elizabeth was a puzzle queen who had a great sense of humor. She was a longtime volunteer for Deborah Heart and Lung Center and a member of St. John of God Church.
Elizabeth is preceded in death by her husband Serafino "Harry" Lanza (1993) and grandson Michael (1996). She is survived by her children; Wayne (Sandy) Lanza, Harry Lanza, Gregory (Donna) Lanza and Paula (Michael Breslin) Lanza; grandchildren; Mercedes (Michael), Wayne Jr., Robert (Krystle) and Joshua; great-children Jakob, Asher, and Ariana; and fur babies; Zero, Minnie, and Henry.
A Funeral Service will be held on February 14, 2024, at 1pm, at the Cape May County Veterans Cemetery Chapel, 127 Crest Haven Road, Cape May Court House, NJ. Friends and family may pay their respects from 12-1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children at www.lovetotherescue.org.
