Memories … I had a rare quiet moment today as I put my silverware away. I smiled as the silverware brought Barbara Beebe to mind. You see, Barbara was the impetus to my moving to Philadelphia. Boyfriend breakup, many high school friends moved away or went to college … why not? We decided on an apartment together - leading to my buying this silverware. It was 1968, we were 20; I was hired at Philadelphia Gas Works; Barb at Gimbels. Many years later, periodically a FB post would let me know she had become a private investigator back in our hometown area. Again, I smiled, thinking I would look her up on FB as it had been too long. My phone dinged with a message from my sis, Elizabeth. She sent an obituary notice. Barbara (nee Beebe) Antonelli had passed away. Warmly I now bid you farewell Barbara.
