It is with great sadness the family of Sherri Ann Morris announces her passing on Saturday, December 16 at Copper University Hospital, Camden.
Sherri was born Wednesday, July 23, 1976 in Cape May Court House to her parents Thomas and Carol (Plumely) Valentine. She grew up in Lower Township and graduated from Lower Cape Regional High School Class of 1994. She was employed by the Division of Veteran's Services as an administrative assistant. She enjoyed working with the Veteran's of Cape May County and assisting them in their needs.
In her spare time Sherri enjoyed scrap booking, crocheting and knitting, collecting pens and photography. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Frank and Ella Plumely and her maternal grandfather John Cohan.
Sherri will be forever loved by her husband of 24 years Shawn Morris, Sr.; children Shawn Morris, Jr. and his wife Valerie, Logan Morris and Shaylah Carr; grandson Jonah Lewis; siblings Dawn Cottrell wife of Aaron, Thomas Valentine, Jr. husband of Susan and Mathew Valentine; niece and nephew Mariah and Aaron, Jr; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Celebration of Sherri's Life will be held Saturday, December 30 at 2PM. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 1PM until the time of service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
It was Sherri's wish that donations be made to MD Anderson Cooper to help find a cure for cancer.
