Obituary of Frances Joan Poserina

FRANCES JOAN POSERINA CREST HAVEN NURSING AND REHABILITATION CENTER 12 MOORE ROAD CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE, NJ 08210 Frances Joan (Tumasz) Poserina, age 94, of Cape May Court House, NJ passed away peacefully December 1, 2023. She was born May 25, 1929 in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia. She was the daughter of Frank & Stephania Tumasz, and was predeceased by her 2 brothers Edward Tumasz and Victor Tumasz. She was the beloved wife of Edward Joseph Poserina for 69 years who predeceased her on October 3, 2018. Frances and Edward originally of the Fairhill section of Philadelphia were married in 1949 and the family moved to Chalfont, PA in 1956. Frances devoted her life to raising her four boys. Their family always looked forward to extended family summer vacations every year at Cape May Court House staying with relatives. In 1984, Frances & Edward retired to their home in Cape May Beach, NJ where they resided for 33 years. Frances is survived by her four sons; Thomas Edward (Nanette) Poserina, Michael John (Barbara) Poserina, James Francis Poserina and Robert J Poserina, 9 grandchildren; Mark Poserina, Gregg Poserina, Thomas Robert Poserina, Stephen Poserina, Kristen Poserina, Jonathan Poserina, Shannon Poserina, Katie Poserina, Jacob Poserina, and Michael Poserina, 5 great-grandchildren; James Poserina, Baya Poserina, Bailee Poserina, Kenna Poserina, and Sofia Poserina. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 10:00AM until to 10:45AM at the Parish of St. John Neumann Church of St. John of God 680 Town Bank Road, North Cape May, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00AM. Burial will follow at Cape May County Veterans Cemetery, 127 Crest Haven Road, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210. Evoy Funeral Home, North Cape May, NJ has been entrusted with funeral arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St Jude's Children Research Hospital.
