Michael A. Lalla,Sr.,66, Wildwood, entered into eternal rest Sunday evening, November 12th at his residence. Born August 17, 1957 in Philadelphia, he was the son of Helen (Hull) Lalla and the late Michael Lalla. Michael grew up in Colwyn PA and played football for the Colwyn Comets. He was a 1975 graduate of the West Catholic Boys High School. He attended Sun Ship Welding School and became a certified welder. Michael could be described as a simple man who enjoyed life. His favorite past times were walking the beach with his wife, watching Seinfeld with his son, hanging out at the Firehouse Tavern and spending time with his grandchildren Carter and Jade who brought so much joy to him. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife Joan Moncrief (July 2, 2023). Michael will be forever missed by his sons Gerald (Briana), Michael and Nicholas (Kaci) ; mother Helen; siblings Jon Lalla, Cynthia Jacobs (Richard), Barbara DiGuglielmo (Kirk), Mary Foster (John) and Joseph Lalla (Mary); grandchildren Carter and Jade; and several nieces and nephews. Private funeral services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Evoy Funeral Home 3218 Bayshore Road has been entrusted with arrangements. “Botta Boom”
