Gerald (Jerry) Joseph Giordano, age 90 of Sunset Beach, North Carolina died peacefully surrounded by family on September 19, 2023. Jerry was born in Brooklyn, New York, son of Antonio and Theresa Giordano (deceased). He moved to Sayreville, and then to Cape May, New Jersey with his beloved wife Edythe Giordano (deceased). His final residence was Sunset Beach, North Carolina. He served in the United States Navy and was awarded Company Honor Man. Jerry is survived by his two daughters, Susan Janes (William Newrock), Tinton Falls, NJ, Caryn Giordano (John Salvatore), Sunset Beach, NC, and his son Gerald Joseph Giordano, Jr. (Lillian Giordano), Old Bridge, NJ, along with his sister, Roseann Giordano (Mark Parenteau) and his nephew, Christopher Tullo (Erin Tullo) as well as his great nephew Nathan and niece Lia. Jerry enjoyed being with his family and friends and his best four-legged buddy, Bogie. He also loved hosting holidays, his famous BBQs, gardening, dancing, music, social events, and had a great zest for life. Visitation hours will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Road, Cape May NJ on Tuesday, September 26, 2023. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at the Parish of St. John Neumann Parish church of St. John The God Church, 680 Town Bank Rd, Cape May, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Assistance Fund, http://www.tafcares.org or your favorite charity.
