Obituary of Mary A. O'Donnell

Mary Agnus O'Donnell (Focht) January 29, 1955 – September 16, 2023 Mary Agnus O'Donnell (Focht), 68, of Lower Township passed away peacefully early morning on Saturday September 16th surrounded by her family. Mary is now in good company with her mother, father, both sisters, some nieces and nephews and two of her best friends. Mary is survived by her husband Dan O'Donnell, her children Kimberly O'Donnell, Daniel O'Donnell (Iwona), Kelly O'Donnell, Megan O'Donnell Shumate (Chris). Her grandchildren Brian Brooks (Julie), Leah Holzworth (Bill), Ariana Brooks (Ryan), Daniel, Olivia, Victoria, Sterlin and Bellamy. Great grandchildren Liam, Autumn, Kyla and Ryan. Brothers Al Bealer (Cathy), Emil Focht (Cathy) and Edward (Roseann) Focht. Mary was a person who attracted others with her warmth and amazing sense of humor. She never failed to fill a room with light and laughter. She was always the life of the party. Mary's favorite part of her life was becoming a mother. Raising her children brought her so much pride and joy. Mary always said her greatest accomplishment was watching her children become adults she could be proud of. Mary was a devoted wife to her husband Dan of 43 years. Through love and understanding they brought out the best of each other. Together they raised 4 beautiful children and were blessed with 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1pm on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at The Bellevue Tavern, 9 S Main Street, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210. The family request that you wear joyful colors as Mary would not want us to be in black. In lieu of flowers please send donations in Mary's name to the Atlantic City Rescue Mission.
