James Robert Jamieson Jan 9, 1959 - July 4, 2023 Jim passed suddenly at home after a brief illness at age 64. He graduated from Audubon HS Class of 1977, and enjoyed his 45th reunion last year. Jim retired from Pratt and Whitney on March 31st, 2020 after working there for 37 years, 8mos, 23 days. He graduated with an Engineering degree from Drexel University, following in the footsteps of his Uncle Bob and Pop Pop Hunter. He is survived by 7 cousins (Nancy, Scott, Sheila, Liz, John, Natalie, Kevin) and his nephew John, niece Alia and their children. Preceded in death by his father (James Mackay 1996), mother (Kathryn Ruth nee Hunter 2007), brother (John Calvin 2008). Jim enjoyed hiking with his beloved dog Doppler in Connecticut. He moved back to NJ after retiring and settled in Rio Grande by Cape May where he loved watching the beach sunrise, enjoyed Cold Springs and Garden State brewing with Doppler's being spoiled by beertenders. Sunday morning was spent at Uncle Bill's pancake house and reading the Inquirer. Cousin Jim kept stats on his elliptical at Planet Fitness, relaxed by watching his favorite shows of Star Trek or Pinky and the Brain and was an avid Philly sports team fan especially the Flyers. He had great travelling adventures in Scotland and Switzerland. He will be missed.
