Charles "Chick" F. Jenkins, Jr. Obituary

Jenkins, Charles "Chick" F., Jr., age 62, and area resident since 1973, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2023. Chick was born in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Charles F., Sr. and Margaret (nee Lane) Jenkins. He graduated from Wildwood Catholic High School and was a Casino Gaming employee for Bally's Casino and Trump Plaza in Atlantic City. He also worked as a working foreman for R. Pluta Construction Company for many years and he was an avid Philadelphia sports fan.


Left to cherish his memory are his children; Charles F., III, Joseph and Michael (Chelsea), his 3 Grandchildren; Shayla, Mia and Fiona, his sisters Peggy (Randy) Pluta and Deborah Jenkins and his nieces and nephews.


A memorial service will be held for Chick at Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd., N. Cape May, on Saturday, August 26 at 2 pm with visiting 1 hour prior, from 1– 2 pm.
