Marie G. Ziess, 88, North Cape May, entered into eternal rest Thursday, August 16 at her residence with her family by her side. Born May 13, 1935, in Cincinnati OH, she was the daughter of the late Jacob John and RoseMarie (Dickman) Grueninger. Marie worked as the Supervisor of the cleaning staff for the Facilities and Services Department of Cape May County. She retired after twenty- six years of service. During her time there she met many people and made many friends. She could be described as having a quick wit about her and a great sense of humor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Ziess (September 13, 1980); and sisters Lorraine, Virginia, and Evelyn. Marie will be deeply missed by her children John Mogey, William Mogey, Jean Mogey, Doris Clifford (Ken), Rosemary Mogey (the late Frank Miller), James Mogey (Anahi), and Samantha Simcox (the late Robert Simcox); 13 grandchilren; 5 great grandchildren; sister Dolores Mestrinelli; niece Joanne Beck (Charles); caregiver and special friend Afi; her faithful furry friends Teddy & Ace; and several nieces and nephews. As per Marie's wishes she will be laid to rest next to her husband Robert 11 AM Friday, August 25 at Cape May County Veteran's Cemetery 127 Crest Haven Road Cape May Court House NJ 08210. Evoy Funeral Home 3218 Bayshore Road North Cape May has been entrusted with arrangements. "Thank God she finally made it"
