Obituary of Kathleen J. Mulvehill

Please share a memory of Kathleen to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Kathleen Mulvehill sadly passed away on August 5th, 2023. She was born on March 24th, 1964 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and lived in Cape May County, New Jersey for many years. Kathleen was well known and loved no matter where she went! She had a very playful, infectious personality that would make you never forget her. She was an amazing sports athlete when she was younger, and an even better friend. She loved playing soccer and softball, and also enjoyed coaching young girls like her, chasing their dreams! After having a child of her own, she became involved in all things for Chrissy, like sports groups and always offering help. She always had a joke to tell! Kathy was the type of person that would do anything for anyone. Everyone who knew her recently, knew her love for fishing. Kathleen and her lifelong partner Don Fagan would spend every moment they could out on the sea! She loved him more than anything. They enjoyed fishing, and taking care of and breeding their pugs through the years too! Kathy and Don gardened, and we're always the ones to look after everyone else! Before the birth of their grandchildren, they also loved going to the casinos and enjoyed going to watch Broadway plays. They were always on the go! It all changed when they became Mom Mom and Poppy though, and life was mainly about Sophia and Chaz. She protected her family until her last breath, making her Spouse and daughter promise to take care of one another and the kids! Kathy was pre deceased by her parents Thomas and Rosemarie. Also, by her sister Maria, and brothers Carl and Thomas. She is survived by her lifetime partner and best friend Donald Fagan, her daughter and son and law (who was like her 2nd child) Christina and Chaz, and her grandchildren Sophia and Chaz. She is also survived by her brother John. These past few months have been anything but easy for Kathleen. She fought her hardest to stay with her family, but it became too tough. She had a heart of gold, and was one of the strongest women out there. It's hard to summarize her life, because she meant so much to so many people. It feels like the words aren't enough, and don't show just how amazing she was. She was the rock of her family, and will surely be missed. Kathleen's memorial service will be held on August 14th, 2023 at 3pm at Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Road, North Cape May, NJ 08204. The family will receive friends from 2-3 pm. Thank you to everyone who has reached out to her family during this difficult time.
