Obituary of Carlo Lala Jr

Our hearts are saddened of the news of Carlo T. Lala, Jr's sudden passing on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 just 25 days shy of his 54th birthday. He Born August 27, 1969 in Philadelphia, he was the son of Joan McFarland and the late Caro T. Lala, Sr. who died January 15, 2023. Carlo could be described as a fun-loving individual who enjoyed spending time with family, friends and the love of his life Denise. He had a great appreciation for all genres of music; he loved everything from the Grateful Dead to Taylor Swift. Being born and raised in Philadelphia, it was natural that he was an avid Philly Phan. He followed the Eagles, Phillies and the 76ers and was proud to root on his hometown team. Carlo will forever be missed by his mother Joan; daughter Danielle; sister Kitty Lala D'Olio (Joe); brothers Charles Lala (Karen) and Michael Lala (Sharon); fiancée Denise Ferrigno. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews Carla D'Olio, goddaughter Jaclyn Jagodonski, Michael D'Olio, Nicholas Lala, Devon Lala, CJ Lala, Rachel Lala, Michael Lala, Jr. and goddaughter Sarah Lala; great nephew Jason and great niece Elizabeth. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11AM Thursday, August 10 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church 4308 Landis Ave Sea Isle City NJ. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 10AM until the time of Mass. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers the family would prefer donations be made to the American Heart Association in Carlo's memory.
