I have so many memories with Fred I don’t know where to start. From the hundreds of concerts and summers spent in Sea Isle, there was rarely a dull moment. Freddie loved music, good food, a good game of golf (even if his clubs ended up in the pond lol) and off the wall movies. I suffered through a few, Woody Allen and subtitles included!! The memories of these places and things with Fred will be with me as long as I live but what I remember most about Fred is his heart. It was huge! It was truly as big as him if not bigger, if that’s possible. He cared so deeply about the people in his life if you were hurting he was hurting too. If you were happy he was even happier for you. Fred was a great son, a wonderful brother, uncle, and a loyal and true friend! May his beautiful soul rest easy and free! May God bless you Fred and hold you in the palm of his had til we meet again!

Fred and I first met shortly after I moved to Cape May. He was a special person who was passionate about family, friends, and food! It was my pleasure to know him and to help care for him when he needed it over the years. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends for whom he loved so deeply. I know he is up in heaven enjoying all things he couldn't enjoy here on earth these past few years. You are fiercely missed Fred, rest in peace!

Back in the late 70s my brother Ray, my cousin Tony, Freddy, Joey, Butchy, and I and all of their instruments piled into my ‘63 Pontiac Lemans convertible. We started out on Amber Street to go to Wildwood to the Mad Hatter for amateur night. Started out with a flat tire on Amber Street. Got the tire fixed on our way down. And driving down route 73 a car cut us out and we were almost killed. Everybody was happy because I controlled the steering and ended up in a dirt lot. After that all of the guys said to me “Go get that MF’er. We never did find the guy. sure enough got another flat tire on route 9 me and Tony walked about 2 miles and found a gas station and got the tire fixed and walked back to put it back on the car. And after all that, their band got 10th place at the Mad Hatter amateur night in West Wildwood.
He was a really good friend and we’ve been through a lot together, this was just one.

Many moons ago Fred and his friend Butch asked me and Helene to go see ca comedy show on South Street. he said we were seeing Andrew Dice Clay! we had no idea who that was! So off we go! the comedy club wasn't crowded so we sat in the front row. the show was fun! Lots of laughs. Andrew told his Mother goose jokes and Freddy and Butch were laughing. Then he went on to tell a joke about bowling. To this day I don't remember the joke but Freddy and Butch went off laughing so hard that Andrew stopped the show because he was laughing so hard at them!!!!! It was a great night! I always talk about that show because it was so funny watching those 2 fools crack up! I recently went to see Andrew Dice Clay in AC, it was a good show but i wish Freddy was there with me again to hear the best laugh again!!!! Fred's laugh was infectious!!!!
I hope you are at peace now Fred and telling all the jokes!!!!!!

I'm gonna miss Fred sooo much! He was the best patient I ever had the pleasure of taking care of. His face would light up the room and he made my day everyday. I loved sneaking him some snacks that he loved. Listening to old rock with him was my favorite! He will truly be missed, he was definitely one of a kind.

I honestly didn't know Fred very well although I felt like I did. I frequently took the ride with Helene to visit him in the nursing home when she would bring his snacks and pick up his laundry. I knew every time he went in to the hospital. I prayed for him to get stronger but he came out weaker I strongly believe he is at peace now. Breathing easier and eating everything he wasn't allowed to eat! Fly high Fred.

My deepest condolences to Fred's family during this difficult time. I loved Fred like a brother. I'll never forget the time getting snowed in with him at my brother's Cottman Avenue apartment late 1990s. We laughed the whole time. Watched many music videos that I never knew existed and drank and ate like kings lol. I visited him when he was in the hospital in Cape May a few years back and he was so happy to see me. I was there to cheer him up but he made me feel so happy just to see him. He just made you feel special and I'm going to miss him. Love you Fred!

We all shared an on Campus Trailer..They called us "THE BEAST'S FROM THE EAST"..Myself Freddie Tom A Joe C. (Pittsburg) Woody D ...we also had other Philly Boys out there.John A. Kevin l
It was a Culture Shock to go from Philly 4th largest city in the Country to the Middle of Nowhere
But we all came to Love Dodge City and we all become "BROTHERS FOR LIFE"..
Losing Fred has Ripped a part of my Heart away that will Never be Replaced. Im glad he is No longer in pain..But he will be Missed and will Live in our Hearts FOREVER..GOD BLESS HIM AND CONTINUED PRAYERS FOR THE FAMILY.

So many years knowing Freddie starting 4th grade at Nativity BVM. He had a way to make you feel comfortable and welcomed which isn't easy as a kid on either side. He adored his parents and protective of his sisters. I remember him as we got older as adults and I had children how much he made them laugh. Music was a part of him and he shared it with others. Most of all I just remember his kindness and loyalty as a friend, son or brother. God bless you my friend. Soar to the sky and be at peace. See you again someday.
