Kathryn Charlotte Thogersen, also known as Charlotte, peacefully passed away on June 1, 2023, at the age of 80 in Altamonte, Florida. She was born on February 24, 1943, in Cape May, New Jersey, to the late Russell Poulson and Kathryn Augusta (née Rosell) Poulson. Charlotte was a woman of strong character and unwavering dedication to her family, friends, and community.
Charlotte's journey in life was marked by significant milestones and achievements. She graduated from Cape May Regional High School and embarked on a remarkable career at Atlantic City Electric Company, where she served with distinction for over 31 years as a Senior Clerk in Marketing and Customer Service. Her unwavering commitment and exceptional work ethic made her an invaluable asset to the company.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Charlotte had a deep love for her hometown of Cape May. She cherished the moments spent on the beaches, sailing along the coast, and relishing the company of lifelong friends. Charlotte's love for animals, particularly dogs, was evident in her companionship with her beloved miniature schnauzers, Tova and Freya. She found solace and joy in their presence during long walks and shared adventures.
In her personal life, Charlotte experienced the joy of love and companionship. She was first married to Ollie Olson, with whom she shared cherished memories. Charlotte found love again and married Ted Thogersen, a man from Norway. While married to Ted, they embarked on sailing journeys along the East Coast. They traveled to Norway to visit Ted's family. Charlottes shared adventures created lasting memories with her ex-husband Ted that Charlotte held dear.

She is survived by her cousin, Barbara Chadwick of Cape May, New Jersey; cousin Matthew Palma and Renee Worrell of Orlando, Florida; cousin Deborah Robinson of Jacksonville, Florida; cousin Denise Chilton Colon of Pennsylvania; cousin Patricia Chilton Martin of Pennsylvania, and several other cousins on the Poulson side of her family. She was predeceased by her father, Charles Russell Poulson; mother, Kathryn Augusta (née Rosell) Poulson; sister, Mary Charlene Poulson, and her survived partner, Louise Reindeau.
