Hackett, Sr., Joseph A., age 42, of North Cape May, passed away on July 21, 2023. He was a long-time area resident. He enjoyed working as a mechanic throughout his life, Morey's Pier, Garden State Dredging, Jim Hemmingway, Sr.,and Kincross Gold in Nevada along with building motorcycles and hotrods. Joseph is survived by his son Joseph, Jr., his mother Debra (Ronald Carroll), his brothers Charles, Jr., Richard and Robert, Sr., and his sister Cynthia Timko. He is predeceased by his wife Tamra (nee Daniels) and his father Charles, Sr.
Services will be Monday, July 31, at Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd., N. Cape May, at 11am with a viewing from 10am to 11am.
