I met Dave over 30 years ago through my husband. Dave often turned up unexpectedly at our home over the years. The most memorable being when he rocked up in his Volkswagen Combi van and spent several days camping in our driveway. Whilst he worked on the Navy ship we would often get unexpected night time calls from him . He would proclaim he couldn't tell us where he was as the call would be cut off. We kept in touch on and off over the years.
The last time we met him he came to our home along with Sean and Dermot, he gang of four reminiscing about their time spent in Radolfzell Germany where they met. RIP Mr C.
