Obituary of Rosemarie C. Fowler

Fowler, Rosemarie (nee Mullaney), 72 Surrounded by her children, Rose surrendered peacefully after a year long battle with small cell lung cancer on 7-21-23. She and her husband, Michael, raised and educated their family in Philadelphia where he served the Fire Department for 33 years. They moved to Lower Township Cape May shortly before his passing in 2008. She was an active member of the Greater Wildwood Elks Lodge 1896 and the Stella Maris Home Association where she was part of a two-time Shuffleboard Championship winning team. She further volunteered her time to support the mission at the Veterans & Patriots of Cape May County Thrift Store. She loved to cook and leaves behind many coveted and treasured recipes, while working as the Chef in a café in Lake Harmony PA one of her meals was complimented by NASCAR's Jeff Gordon. A very creative woman, Rose was also an accomplished seamstress who crafted countless Halloween costumes, prom gowns, and other projects throughout her lifetime. She enjoyed the peacefulness of the beach and the ocean and spent many afternoons deep sea fishing with her family. Devoted wife of the late Michael J. Fowler. Loving Mother of James J. Crossland, Rosemarie M. Logue (James), Michelle Mansley (Eric), and Karen Fowler-McCarraher (T.J.). Doting Mom- Mom of Aidan, Alexandra, Kaylie, Heidi, Saige, and Janelle. Daughter of Rose (nee Bertolino) and the late Lawrence Meehan. She is also survived by 2 loving sisters and 3 brothers. Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Service Saturday afternoon 3:00pm at EVOY FUNERAL HOME 3218 Bayshore Road, North Cape May NJ 08204.
