Obituary of Joan Moncrief

Joan Marie Moncrief, 62, North Wildwood, entered into eternal rest Saturday, July 1st at her residence surrounded by her loving family and friends after her courageous battle with colon cancer. Born November 4, 1960 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of Patricia (Hoban) Moncrief and the late Gerald Moncrief. She graduated from Darby High School and worked as a secretary for local real estate agencies. She enjoyed cooking, shopping and the beach, however, there was no greater enjoyment than that of children and grandchildren. As like any mother, Joan, was proud of her three sons and loved them very dearly. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother James. Joan will be forever loved and missed by her mother Patricia; her husband of 35 years Michael Lalla; sister Mary and brother Robert. Her legacy will continue to live on in her sons Gerald Moncrief, Michael Lalla, and Nicholas Lalla; and grandchildren Carter and Jade. Private funeral services were held at Evoy Funeral Home 3218 Bayshore Road North Cape NJ 08204.
