Obituary of Andrew Drake

Andrew F. Drake (Drew) 48, left this world too soon on June 3,2023. He was born in Chester,PA on June 30th, 1974. He grew up in Cape May, NJ. He later moved to Florida and spent many years there where he made many lifelong friends. He eventually settled back in Cape May where he started his new life with his wife and two daughters. He had a heartwarming smile and was a force who lit up any room he ever walked into. He loved his sports. The 76ers, Eagles, and Phillies were his favorite teams. He was a huge golf fan and watched the tournaments on TV every weekend. His favorite golfer was John Daly. He was so happy to meet him when he finally made it to the Masters. He enjoyed hunting trips to South Dakota with "the boys". He also enjoyed special vacations with his wife and daughters and his stepchildren to Siesta Key and Hawaii. Drew is survived by his parents, Dr. Andrew Drake and Rosemary Bubnis(Eugene). His loving wife Melissa Drake, his beautiful daughters Abbigail and Hannah Drake, his step kids, who he loved like his own, Shaylin Aquino(Armando) and Ethan Mack, his brother Brent Drake(Clarissa), Uncle Ron Drake, cousin Matthew Drake(Rosie) extended family and friends who he loved so much. He worked in pest control and bartended at Mulligans where he was loved so much by his work family and customers. A memorial service will be held at Evoys Funeral Home in North Cape May on Thursday June 8th at 11:00 am. Visitation for family and friends will be 9:30-11:00am. A celebration of Drew's life will be held immediately after at the Lobster House in Cape May.
