Obituary of Ashley A Jackson

Ashley Ann Jackson, 22 of Cape May, departed this life far too soon, to be with the lord on May 26th, 2023. She was born June 26, 2000 in St. Augustine Florida and raised in Cape May New Jersey. Ashley was very well known and loved by so many in the area. She had a fun and infectious personality and her gorgeous smile would light up any room she entered. She was a force to be reckoned with and when she loved, she loved hard and without limitations. During her high school years, she was an outstanding basketball player, scoring 1,000 points at LCMR High school while maintaining a high GPA. She enjoyed playing basketball, the outdoors, listening to music, dancing, reading her Bible, wearing designer clothing and being surrounded by those she loved. She is survived by her mother, Diane Wareham, brother Ronald Jackson, sister Alyssa Jackson and niece Malia "Mimi", little sister Ariella Tomes, Grandparents Diane and Pat McCarthy, and Charlotte Wareham and Ronald Jackson, who all held a very special place in her heart. She is preceded in death by her father Ronald Jackson, grandfather Willis Wareham, grandmother Deborah Jackson and cousin Alex Rodriguez. She will be sadly missed by her very large extended family: Uncle Willis and wife Nicholina, Uncle Joseph Wareham and wife Dee-Anna, Aunt Mackenzee Warham, Aunt Jennifer Jackson and Uncle James Williams and many loving cousins and friends. Let's light up the room and wear yellow in honor of Ashley's favorite color and vibrant personality. A memorial service will be held at Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd., N. Cape May, on Monday, June 5, where friends and family may call between 11am-12pm, with a 12pm service.
