Obituary of Janice M. Olszewski

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our matriarch, Janice (Szczechowicz) Olszewski on May 14th 2023 at the age of 77. Janice most recently lived with her husband, John of 55 years, in North Cape May, New Jersey. Janice is a native of the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia where she spent many years as the owner/operator of Janice Olszewski Childrens Wear but her main focus in life was always her family. Janice was a proud graduate of Nazareth Academy class of '63 and a former employee of Union of Polish Women in America. Preceded in death by her father and mother, John and Emily Szczechowicz, her sister Dorothy D'Agostino and brother John. Janice will be sadly missed by her husband John along with their children Anthony (Jessica), Mary (William) Doyle, Emily Walters, and Steven. She was the loving Babci of Jacob (Megan), Erik, Maddie (Ryan), Zachary, Will, John and Kate and Prababci of Asher. Friends and family are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial scheduled for Friday June 2, 2023 @ 11am at St. John of God Roman Catholic Church, 680 Town Bank Road, North Cape May, NJ.
